The columbarium comprises a 5-storey building block with a communal eco-friendly joss paper furnace with exhaust air treatment facilities. Computer kiosks are also provided for the public to locate their ancestors.
A green roof, natural lighting designs and use of environmentally friendly materials have enabled the columbarium’s qualification of the HKGBC BEAM Plus program. This project has also implemented the BIM system.
