The Supporting Operational Facilities of the Tsim Sha Tsui Fire Station Complex comprises of a 12-storey building, divided into a Low Block with flat roofs, as well as a High Block. The Low Block includes the Fire Services workshop, DG stores, general stores, uniform stores and plant rooms. The High Block includes division offices, a dining hall, a gymnasium, locker rooms, and showers.
The flat roof and the regular roof are utilized as a children’s playground and designed as a green roof. This allows the new Fire Station complex to be qualified for HKGBC BEAM Plus. This project has also implemented the BIM system.
